The 2011 Pilot is a powerful, full-size SUV from Honda. The Pilot can take care of your family’s needs with its capacity to seat eight and towing capability.
Take a look under the hood and there’s a big 3.5-liter, V6 engine. This V6 produces 250 horsepower and 253 pound-foot of torque. The V6 provides plenty of power and torque, enough to haul 3,500 lbs. The power is transferred to the wheels via a durable 5-Speed Automatic Transmission that uses a Heavy-Duty Automatic-Transmission-Fluid Cooler. The Pilot is available in Front-Wheel Drive as well as Four-Wheel Drive in all trim levels.
Like all Hondas, the Pilot is a safe car. Multiple layers of safety equipment like Multiple-Threshold Front Airbags and a head restraint whiplash protection system for the driver and passenger are included. Additional features prevent accidents in the first place, like the antilock brakes with brake assist and distribution.
