The 2011 Pilot is a powerful, full-size SUV from Honda. Able to seat eight adults in three rows of seats, towing, or hauling cargo, the Pilot can handle your family’s needs.
There’s a 250 hp 3.5-liter, V6 engine under the hood. That’s enough power for the Pilot to easily tow up to 3,500 lbs. The power is transferred to the wheels via a durable 5-Speed Automatic Transmission that uses a Heavy-Duty Automatic-Transmission-Fluid Cooler. The base model Honda Pilot is Front-Wheel Drive, but Four-Wheel Drive versions of all Pilot trim levels including the EX are available.
Hondas are known to be safe cars, and the Pilot comes with a suite of safety features including front, rear and third row head airbags, Dual-Stage, Multiple-Threshold Front Airbags, and the LATCH system. Other safety features like the antilock braking system, brake assist, brake distribution, and stability control help keep the Pilot out of accidents in the first place.
